Note from Amanda: As a publishing consultant, you can work with me at any point in the process. Whether your book is just an idea or is already published and needs marketing, we have services for authors every step of the way. That’s why it’s always a good idea to start with a free consultation call so we can discuss where you’re at, what your goals are, and how I can help you achieve them.

Publishing your book doesn’t have to be hard. With the right team and publishing consultant, you can save time and money that you may have wasted otherwise. 3 ways to work with Amanda
The most common: Full project management style: a publishing consultant guides you step-by-step through the publishing process with your unique team members.
Per task: this is for the D-I-Y author, who just needs a couple of services to finish out their project.
You can hire Amanda by the hour, or, our special Spot Coaching program (which is 10 questions per package). This offering is geared towards a more experienced author who has been through the publishing process before.
How Publishing Consulting Works
Setup a free 30-minute consultation.
On our initial 30-minute consultation we’ll discuss what your book is about, what your goals are, and what type of support you need to get you to the finish line of a professionally published book.
Create a plan of action.
After listening to your goals and vision for your book Amanda will devise a plan that best suits your needs. We’ll review costs/timelines and what to expect.
Begin our project and meet your team.
If you find that we are a good fit, we’ll move to an Agreement and get started with your project. From there you will be introduced to your editor(s), cover designer, interior layout designer, as needed when it is time to work with them.
Guide you through publishing and get you to the vendors involved.
Depending on where you are in the process, you may begin working with your editor(s) to polish your manuscript, or we may even jump into cover design. Amanda will get you to the right people at the right time, while also handling project management services that occur simultaneously throughout the project.
Upload and publish your final book files.
Once we have a polished manuscript and we have worked through project management items together, we’ll upload your book to Amazon KDP or IngramSpark and get your book ready for publishing. Once the book is up, Amanda works on optimizing your accounts.
Create a book marketing plan.
IF you opt-in for book marketing consultations and support, we’ll be working on your book marketing plan way before the book is published. You get a customized book marketing plan to suit your target audience, but also fits your schedule and marketing capacity.
